As the NOVA spacecraft maneuvered into docking position, Agent Alex Frost could see the holes in the hull of the U.S. Coast Guard space station. He wondered why the crew had disobeyed orders to abandon ship as the cloud of debris from the explosion approached. It was even more peculiar that the crew was unavailable to be interviewed, having seemingly disappeared.
Why had NASA tried to stop the deployment of the planetary space probes that were destroyed in the explosion? Why was the Milan Aerospace Institute being so secretive about the destinations and missions of the probes? It was becoming clear to Frost that there was more than one mystery to be solved.
